PickPunch

Folks this is a fun idea. Great Christmas present (the heck with being "politically" incorrect). Birthday present. Just a fun gift for yourself? I know we have all thought about using those old gift cards or those old expired credit cards for something. Now here is your answer. The Pick Punch. I am in no way associated with the maker of this product, or the sales. As you know from my web site, I don't showcase anything here unless I like the product and want to share the idea with you.

I found it after reading about it as one of the honored Summer NAMM products, so I contacted Von at http://www.pickpunch.com/. I ordered one and got it right away. I have been having so much fun punching picks out of all kinds of stuff. My favorite pick is now from a used Panera Bread Co card. (not to mention that I love their food too). You may or may not see much use for this but it is so much fun and only costs as much as a couple a sets of strings. Make sure you get a sanding block and some pick material too. After you punch a pick, the edges need to be sanded. The angle that a pick is sanded on the edge makes a difference in the tone when you pick a string. If nothing else, it is just fun to use.
