064 is one smoking hot good looking guitar. It was
originally owned by Laury C. of Schaumburg, IL. This guitar
then was sold to Chris L of Clermont Florida in May 2004. She has a beautiful
Sunset Glow finish, is right handed and features a stop tail piece.
In May 2004 this guitar was sold via ebay to Chris L of Clermont
Florida who related the following about his guitar. In July
Michael B. became the owner of J 64.
Here's what
Michael has to say about his guitar: I've only been
playing for about a year but I fell in love with this guitar the
moment I saw it. I also have a PRS Custom 22, a 75 strat, but this
is my favorite. Chris L. the previous owner is a friend of
mine who works on my guitars. He showed me this guitar some time ago
and I offered to by it on the spot. he declined and said he really
wanted one with a Bigsby. A few weeks later he found the one he
wanted but needed to sell 064 to swing the deal. I was only too
happy to get this guitar and now we are both happy. Besides the two
I mentioned, I also have a Taylor 814, a reissue 67 Flying V, and a
Gretsch Setzer signature. I have kind of started a guitar collection
and see them as art as well as instruments. The Johnny A is the
prettiest of them all and the PRS is a 10 top. This guitar is the
best sounding with the PRS and Gretsch tied for second. I'll try to
get some pictures of it and send them. I'm also falling for the
quilt tops I've seen on your registry. Who knows?
Here's what
Chris L. Said about the guitar when he owned it: Really wanted one with Bigsby anyone up to trading
for a stopbar? Let me know. Email me or call 352-243-7626

Here's what Laury, the original owner, had to say regarding the
guitar: I've been playing guitar my whole life, beginning with a nylon strung
Roy Rogers when I was in diapers that I called my Bing-a-Bong. I've
had the usual assortment of acoustics and electrics ranging from Supro to
Fender to Gibson to PRS over the past 30+ years (I'm 50.) Early in
'86 I was knocked out by the 1st PRS I ever saw hanging in a shop window.
It was so well conceived and so well built at a time when Fender and
Gibson were just crap! I bought it and have preferred PRS models
since then, although I've continued to buy and swap Tele's, 335's,
Starcasters, Strats, etc. I kept going back to PRS, but they just
didn't have that SOUL that a great Fender or Gibson seem to have. So when
I discovered this guitar. around November of 2003 I suspected that I'd
found exactly what I was looking for. I hadn't seen a guitar this
well thought out since that 1st PRS, only this one took it even farther
with all the player-friendly touches that they've designed into it.
I started phoning dealers and searching the web until I got the right deal
on the right instrument for me (I ended up trading a PRS HBII in on it at
Dave's Guitar Shop in WI.) So the list I put together was my
research. The guitar absolutely kills! Like you, I'm convinced that
we're in on the ground floor on this thing
