I've been playing guitar for about 25 years now. In fact, years ago ( late seventies through the 80's ) I played many of the same clubs and bars that Johnny A was playing in.  The music scene was pretty cool in the Boston MA area back then.  Somewhere in there I took a few years off ( obviously Johnny kept going ! )....but within the last year or so the passion has come back and I've been practicing my ass off and acquiring some equipment with the intention of getting back into some sort of gigging band.   I'm playing this through a Mesa lone star ( great amp by the way ).   I've also got a couple of Strats and a Gretch Tennessee Rose, a nice sounding hollow body as well.  Let me tell you the Johnny A is an awesome guitar.  It feels great, plays great and sounds great.  It's the best guitar I've ever owned by far.  By the way, I recently saw Johnny A at Capo's in Lowell Ma and it was a great show.  The guy really is a monster !  You know, I almost didn't buy this guitar because I thought it was a little goofy

to have someone else's name on the headstock...I've never been into the signature thing ( a little too fan boyish ).  But then I figured what the hell....Les Paul has his name on a headstock right ?  That never stopped anyone from buying it !
